Bengüsu Önen is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and an Executive Committee Member at SmartOpt. She oversees business operations, financial management, marketing, human resources, project proposals, and strategic partnerships at SmartOpt, ensuring operational continuity and growth. She focuses on process optimization, performance tracking, and aligning workflows with strategic objectives to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Before being appointed COO, she worked as a Project Manager at SmartOpt, managing technology-driven projects, coordinating proposal processes, and evaluating potential business collaborations to support the company’s expansion efforts.

Prior to joining SmartOpt, she worked in R&D departments of various B2B and B2C manufacturing companies, gaining experience in additive manufacturing, machining, chipless machining, and durable consumer goods industries. Her responsibilities included project management, team coordination, and process development.

Bengüsu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Bahçeşehir University and continues to focus on corporate operations, business development, and strategic planning at SmartOpt.
